Midcomp has supplied large format printing equipment in South Africa for more than thirty years. What that buys a customer is not a better brochure: it is technicians who have seen the fault before, parts on a shelf in Johannesburg, and a demonstration floor where you can watch a machine run your own file before you commit to it.

What we do

Midcomp supplies, installs and services large format printers, digital cutting and finishing systems, print media and the software that ties them together. We are Africa's largest HP low and mid-volume reseller, the exclusive appointed Zünd reseller in Southern Africa, and the local Durst distributor.

Those appointments matter for one practical reason: they come with training, parts and factory support. A machine bought from a grey importer is a machine you own alone.

How we are organised

The group runs as five parts, because a plotter in an architect's office and a five-metre industrial press are not the same business.

Where we are

Head office and the Innovation Hub are in Ferndale, Randburg. There are branches in Cape Town and Durban, and technicians who travel. The national call centre is 010 020 9999.
