Printed apparel is produced two ways. DTF prints onto film and heat presses it onto the garment, which works on cotton, polyester and blends with no pre-treatment. Dye sublimation prints into polyester itself, so the colour cannot crack or peel but only works on light polyester.
Print the design onto transfer film, with a white underbase.
Apply and melt the adhesive powder onto the printed film.
Heat press onto the garment, then peel the carrier film.
